Traditional Sacred Valley Tour
The three big names of the valley — Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero — plus the Taray viewpoint and a buffet lunch.
Both routes, stop by stop: when you arrive, how long you stay and how high each place is.
A Sacred Valley day trip from Cusco lasts 11 to 13 hours. The Traditional leaves at 7:20 AM, stops at the Taray viewpoint, Pisac, lunch in Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, and is back around 6:30 PM. Super Sacred Valley leaves at 6:20 AM for Chinchero, Moray, Maras, lunch, Ollantaytambo and Pisac, back around 7:00 PM.
Both routes reach Ollantaytambo at 2:00 PM; they run the rest of the valley in opposite directions.

The longest Ollantaytambo visit of the two routes: enough to climb the fortress-temple and walk the town.
Textile center, Inca park and colonial church — the highest point of the day comes last.
Drop-off in the historic center.
An hour earlier than the Traditional, to fit five sites before dark.
A weaving demonstration, then the Inca terraces and the colonial church while the plateau is still quiet.
The circular terraces, seen from the rim and walked with your guide.
The hillside of salt pools, just before lunch.
Rustica, or the restaurant you upgraded to when booking.
A shorter visit than on the Traditional: the fortress-temple and the Temple of the Sun.

Slightly, yes. Traffic, weather and the situation at each site can move the times by a few minutes or swap the order; your guide adjusts the day so you still see every stop.
On the Traditional, the Pisac visit includes time at the craft market and a silversmith’s workshop. On Super Sacred Valley, you get 30 minutes in Pisac town after the Inca site.
At 12:00 PM on the Traditional and 12:30 PM on Super Sacred Valley, for 50 minutes, in Urubamba.
Yes, on both routes and at the same price, if you are taking the train to Machu Picchu. How the Ollantaytambo ending works. Ending there, the Traditional visits Pisac and Ollantaytambo (not Chinchero), and Super Sacred Valley visits Chinchero, Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo (not Pisac).
