In short

A Sacred Valley day tour, in numbers

A Sacred Valley day tour from Cusco takes 11 to 13 hours and costs from US$30 per person. The Traditional visits Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero; Super Sacred Valley adds the Moray terraces and the Maras salt mines for US$32. Both include hotel pickup, a bilingual guide and a buffet lunch in Urubamba.

Entrance tickets are extra: add them in the Add-ons step when you book, or pay them in soles on the day. The valley floor is lower than Cusco, so many travelers make it their first outing.

If you want to see the whole valley once, choose Super Sacred Valley: five sites for US$2 more than the Traditional. If you prefer to leave an hour later and spend 1 h 30 at both Pisac and Ollantaytambo, the Traditional fits better. Travelling as a family or group of five or more? Compare the private tour.

No. It is the same kind of shared group (17–18 travelers at most), the same certified bilingual guide and the same buffet lunch as the Traditional. The difference is the route: it adds the Moray terraces and the Maras salt mines, and starts at 6:20 AM.

The Traditional lasts about 11 hours (7:20 AM to 6:30 PM). Super Sacred Valley lasts 12 to 13 hours (6:20 AM to 7:00 PM). Both include the drive from and back to central Cusco.

Per person, by group size: US$140 for 2 travelers, US$120 for 3–4, US$100 for 5–7 and US$90 for 8–12. You get your own vehicle, driver and guide on either route, with lunch at 14 Inkas. Entrance tickets are not included.

Yes. Both group tours can end in Ollantaytambo, where the trains to Machu Picchu leave, at the same price as returning to Cusco. How the Ollantaytambo ending works. Ending there, the Traditional visits Pisac and Ollantaytambo (not Chinchero), and Super Sacred Valley visits Chinchero, Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo (not Pisac).

Pick your tour and lunch, choose the date and number of travelers, and pay by card on WeTravel. The confirmation reaches your email right away; the night before, we message your exact pickup time on WhatsApp. Booking step by step.
